Tournride offers the following cancellation insurance options, designed to complement the cancellation policy outlined in the terms of use.
The standard cancellation policy is also presented here for comparison purposes.
Without Additional Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund
- If the reservation has been fully paid, 80% will be refunded if the cancellation is communicated at least 20 days before the start date of the contracted activity.
Reservation Modifications
The deadline for making modifications to the reservation is 20 days before the start of the contracted activity.
Contracting
This cancellation policy will be the default option if none of the Cancellation Insurance options are contracted during the reservation creation process.
Basic Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund
- If the reservation has been fully paid, 100% of the reservation amount will be refunded, even if the bicycles have already been shipped, as long as notification is given at least by the day before the start of the reservation.
Reservation Modifications
The deadline for making modifications to the reservation is 3 business days before the start of the reservation.
Contracting
Basic Cancellation Insurance must be contracted during the reservation creation process, exclusively online. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it will not be possible to include it.
Modification or Cancellation Procedure
You must send an email to info@tournride.com, clearly stating your intention to:
- Cancel the reservation.
- Make modifications to the reservation.
Price
The cancellation insurance amount is 20% of the total reservation amount without insurance. This amount is non-refundable.
Plus Cancellation Insurance
Right to Refund
- If the reservation has been fully paid, 100% of the reservation amount will be refunded, even if the bicycles have already been shipped, as long as notification is given at least by the day before the start of the reservation.
Reservation Modifications
The deadline for making modifications to the reservation is 3 business days before the start of the reservation.
Additional Guarantees
- You can cancel at any time during the rental. The cost of returning/repatriating the bicycles and accessories will be covered by Tournride. The client agrees to return the equipment to the agreed location with Tournride, which is generally:
- Your last accommodation, as long as it does not incur an additional cost. If there is a cost, it will be paid by the client.
- A Tournride partner.
- An office of one of the transport companies Tournride works with.
Contracting
Plus Cancellation Insurance must be contracted during the reservation creation process, exclusively online. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it will not be possible to include it.
Modification or Cancellation Procedure
You must send an email to info@tournride.com, clearly stating your intention to:
- Cancel the reservation.
- Make modifications to the reservation.
- Wish to abandon, leaving all the material at the agreed pick-up point.
Price
The cancellation insurance amount is 25% of the total reservation amount without insurance. This amount is non-refundable.
